We’re the most badass, kickass, funky-fun wedding stylists/florists/designers this side of the southern hemisphere. We’ve been kickin’ around Sydney since 2015, established by our fearless leader and Head of Snacks Division, Kimberley Burrell.

Wedding planning is stressful. We get it. This is why we pride ourselves on being your one-stop wedding shop. Our team is made up of the most super rad creatives in the industry. Between us, we have a bajillion* years of experience as event planners, florists, stylists, audio engineers, production managers… basically, a group of passionate people who will make sure your day looks stunning AND runs smoothly.

We also think wedding planning should be FUN! We’re an easy-going bunch, and we want to get to know you so we can create MAGIC for you (and a few wines along the way won’t hurt either!).

*cannot confirm the amount of years is actually a bajillion. But it’s a lot.

Kimberley

OWNER + LEAD STYLIST

Kimberley

Kimberley is the creative behind The Marmalade Sky. She’s the designer, the stylist, the planner, the chief of purchases, coordinator of snacks and general manager of good times.

You’ll usually find her at Sydney Markets buying up the good blooms or napping (cause of the 5am market visits).

Kimberley has been lucky enough to work alongside some of the most influential and talented wedding designers in the industry, including a recent stint in Seattle, USA, working with Steven Moore of Sinclair and Moore Events (picked as top wedding stylist by Martha Stewart Weddings and Vogue Bride).

Joel

Logistics Manager

Joel

Joel is the brains behind The Marmalade Sky. He’s the problem solver, the heavy lifter, the technician.

You’ll usually find him up a ladder or wandering around saying ‘Tessssst. Teeeesting one two” into a microphone.

Joel’s background is in audio engineering (super handy for your wedding) and has project managed events at some of Sydney’s most prestigious venues, such as Barangaroo Reserve and The Museum of Contemporary Art (MCA).

Beth

Senior Florist

Beth

Beth is the ‘get shit done’ person at The Marmalade Sky. She’s the flower wrangler, the purveyor of hilarious jokes and currently holds the record for 'most snacks' consumed on site .

With a background in interior design, Beth can take an average-looking bucket of flowers and turn them into MAGIC for your wedding.

She retrained as a florist in 2018 and fell in love with weddings and events. She was also the expert florist behind the unbelievable wedding florals on the 2020 series of MAFS (Obvs the flowers was the only good thing to come from that show).
